Dua Lock is a mobile application designed to help you reduce distractions around salah by limiting access to selected apps during prayer-focused moments. By downloading, installing, or using Dua Lock, you agree to these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms").
Dua Lock is operated by Dua Lock ("we," "us," or "our"). The App is intended as a personal productivity and self-discipline tool. It is not a religious authority, religious ruling, emergency service, or substitute for your own judgment.
Dua Lock does not require you to create an account. The App is built to keep your prayer settings, blocking choices, habit progress, and personalization preferences on your device wherever possible.
If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to include in that message so we can respond to you.
Dua Lock may offer paid auto-renewable subscriptions for premium features. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system and are billed to your Apple Account, not directly by Dua Lock.
If a free trial is offered, the trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.
We use trusted third-party providers to enhance the app experience:
No personally identifiable information is stored on external servers. Data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to misuse Dua Lock. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, resell, sublicense, exploit, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt the App except where applicable law gives you a right to do so.
You also agree not to use Dua Lock for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes, or in a way that violates another person's rights.
Dua Lock is rated 4+ on the Apple App Store. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use Dua Lock only with permission and involvement from a parent or legal guardian.
Dua Lock may display prayer-related reminders, streaks, motivational text, and habit-building content. This content is provided for general support and reflection only. Prayer times, reminders, and blocking behavior can be affected by device settings, permissions, location accuracy, time zone, operating-system limits, and user configuration.
Dua Lock is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly accurate, or effective in every circumstance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dua Lock will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, service interruption, or inability to use the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of Dua Lock after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
